The Southeastern Cider Festival, Saturday, October 20 at Doghouse Studios in Napanee.  It’s the first event of its kind in the Napanee area to celebrate hard cider!

We’re lucky to have several amazing cider producers in southeastern Ontario, and all across Ontario, so we’re here to raise a glass of apples for them and for us!

FAQ

If the question you have is not here, please contact us and we’ll get it answered right away!

Q: IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
A: Yes, there is plenty of free parking! However, drinking and driving will NOT be tolerated, so please plan ahead by having a DD or use our shuttle buses (details below) or a taxi.

Q. IS THERE A SHUTTLE BUS?
A. There sure is! We are happy to offer a FREE shuttle bus to the festival. The bus will leave from Red House West in Kingston at 12 pm, 1:30 pm, 3 pm, and 4:30 pm.
Return trips from the festival to Kingston will leave Doghouse at approximately 3:45, 5:15, 6:45, and 8 pm.

Space on the shuttle bus cannot be booked in advance or guaranteed. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a safe way home from Red House West.

Q: WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
12 – 8 pm.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
A: Here are some of the items you should remember to bring with you.
– Valid Photo ID. This is an all ages event but you will need to have ID to receive a bracelet, and that bracelet will allow you to drink.
– Your ticket, either a physical copy or from your phone
– Cash! We will have options for debit/credit but cash is best and easiest, just in case
– Good friends and an easy-going disposition

Q: ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
A: Sorry, this is indoors so it won’t be appropriate for dogs.

Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
A: Yes! This is an all-ages event. Kids under 12 are free. Anyone under 19 who asks for alcohol, holds alcohol, or drinks alcohol will promptly be kicked out without warning.

Q: CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
A: Sure. We’ll have food trucks out front in an unlicensed area, so all alcohol must stay inside.

Q: WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?
A. What about it? Almost everything is inside, except for the food trucks. We’ll have a covered area while you’re ordering if it rains.

Q: HOW DO I GET TOKENS?
A. Four tokens are included with your tickets, and the rest will be easy to find. Extra tokens are $2 each for a 4 oz sample, though and wine and mead samples will be a bit smaller.

Q: WHAT ABOUT NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?
A. We are happy to offer non-alcoholic cider, bottled water, and tap water. There may be cans of pop available from food vendors.
