The second annual Southeastern Cider Festival, Saturday, October 19 at Doghouse Studios in Napanee.  It’s the only event of its kind in the area to celebrate hard cider!

We’re lucky to have several amazing cider producers in southeastern Ontario, and all across Ontario, so we’re here to raise a glass of apples for them and for us!

FAQ

If the question you have is not here, please contact us and we’ll get it answered right away!

Q: IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?
A: Yes, there is plenty of free parking! Parking on the road is not permitted. There is overflow parking, if necessary available at the school board office just a two-minute walk away.
Drinking and driving will NOT be tolerated, so please plan ahead by having a DD or use our shuttle buses (details below) or a taxi.

Q. IS THERE A SHUTTLE BUS?

Yes! The shuttle bus will leave Spearhead Brewery in Kingston at noon and will continue shuttling back and forth until leaving Doghouse for the final run at approximately 7:30 pm.  The bus will be leaving Spearhead *roughly* every hour on the hour, and will be leaving Doghouse *roughly* on the half hour. The shuttle bus is free, and is first come first serve. There is no way to reserve or guarantee a spot, or to ensure that you arrive at the festival or back in Kingston at a specific time.

Q: WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
12 – 8 pm.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
A: Here are some of the items you should remember to bring with you.
– Valid Photo ID. This is an all ages event but you will need to have ID to receive a bracelet, and that bracelet will allow you to drink.
– Your ticket, either a physical copy or from your phone.
– Cash! We are planning to have options for debit/credit but cash is best and easiest, just in case.
– Good friends and an easy-going disposition.

Q: ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
A: Sorry, this is indoors so it won’t be appropriate for dogs.

Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
A: Yes! This is an all-ages event. Kids under 12 are free. Anyone under 19 who asks for alcohol, holds alcohol, or drinks alcohol will promptly be kicked out without warning.

Q: CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
A: Yep!

Q: WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?
A. We’re an indoor festival, so nothing to worry about!

Q: HOW DO I GET TOKENS?
A. Two tokens are included with your tickets, and the rest will be easy to find. Extra tokens are $2 each for an approximate 4 oz sample, though certain ciders may be two tokens – it’s up to the individual vendors.

Q: WHAT ABOUT NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?
A. We are happy to offer non-alcoholic cider, water, pop, and more!
